David Emm
That '63 B-3 looks so sweet, I can almost smell the reservoir oil hovering over it. I am definitely not a proper organist, but having played AT a healthy B-3, I understand why you don't really get it until you play the drawbars. Its a gut-to-heart connection. The base sounds aren't hard to synthesize up to a point, but you don't get the drawbars, the same character-filled leakage behaviors, the cabinet resonating or the Leslie sending lightning through the bench, into your spine and up to the seed of your next incarnation. Wow, that sure is one heck of a run-on sentence. True, too. Sheltering in place and drinking Nyquil is fun! felis
Kurzweil PC4. I've had it 7 months now, so it's not the 'honeymoon' effect anymore. It's not perfect, but it's as close as I've gotten to my dream board. I'm looking forward to adding a 61 or 76 key version of it as well, because it does what I ask of it.
