The first CD, titled Internotes Vol 1, featured the work of people from countries as varied as Scotland, Australia, Canada, Mexico and the US. Any group of people wanting to contribute a song is more than welcome to take part. You can express interest on this thread , either as an individual or group. So anyone interested? It is a land steeped in ancient traditions, fascinating legends, and distinctive culture. Perhaps you are familiar with our handmade seaside men's house, huge, ancient stone money discs and stone money banks, festive dancing, handicraft making, marine life and mangrove forests? While you may not have know that I am from Yap, surely you are aware that I am a cat. I am a cat from Yap, and I would be very happy to join your international collaboration. Please let me know if any cats from Yap (or any other Micronesian Island State) have already signed up for the project. Thanks as always. Duddits Posted June 7, 2004 Share Posted June 7, 2004 If you're talking about Fluffinutter (who, I might add is a Maine Coon, not a Persian) she is from Chuuk, not Yap, although she makes like she's from Yap in online forums (you're not fooling anyone, Fluffinutsack). And if one of the other cats is a Didgeridoo player who's missing a chunk of his tail, that's Mr. Biggles from Pohnpei, not Yap. Not sure about the other two. Maybe they are from Yap It's like this everywhere on the net. Almost every cat you run into is from Yap or one of the surrounding Island States of Micronesia.
