Song80s
My Mini is 6 yrs old. Its been great. Core i5. 1.4 Ghz Intel. 8 GB ram. On Mojave 10.14.3 Unfortunately, it powers down every 15 minutes. I ran commands at Terminal for shut downs - and got the Zero error code in the kernel [ ?] 0 or zero indicates power problem. Yes, thank you, Captain Obvious. Its not my outlet or PGE electricity. Confident I have consistent voltage. I am suspicious of crap on board graphics. Or software ? Or failing internal power. Open to trouble shooting ideas ? I am willing to buy another Mini. Just want to exhaust the DIY Thank you ! Quote Why fit in, when you were born to stand out ? Reezekeys
Sometimes, running Console & looking at the system logs can give you a clue. Only costs a little time. Can you power it back up immediately? That might rule out an overheating component.
zeronyne
Might be a faulty PS or just the PS controller. Is there an Apple store even remotely near you? Quote "For instance" is not proof.

Song80s
Might be a faulty PS or just the PS controller. Is there an Apple store even remotely near you? That was my guess. Going to Apple Store will shoot an entire day- even with an appointment. They will likely just keep the Mini etc etc for a few days. Quote Why fit in, when you were born to stand out ? That is the only 'reset' that revives my Mini. I have done it several times. Without SMC, my Mini is DOW- dead on water Quote Why fit in, when you were born to stand out ? I'm have a 2011 Mac Mini i5, 2.30GHz, 8MB RAM and a 1TB SSD running Bootcamp, so let me know if there's any info I can give you or tests I can run that would be helpful. If you're running Bootcamp, does the same issue happen in Windows? If you're not running Bootcamp, maybe try to create a bootable Linux USB drive and see if it still shuts down. It could also be a failing HDD or RAM going bad. If you haven't already, you could try Apple Hardware Test or Apple Diagnostics depending upon the model you have. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT20125.
