Muad’Dib
I have noticed a lot of Soviet Era Russian Synths for sale on Reverb.com and I was curious, if anyone on here ever played one of owned one? I know nothing about anyone of them?

J. Dan
Your initial post said "lots". Is it just this one? Never heard of it....doesn't look like anything special compared to the other analog synths of the time. analogika
Polivoks are a bit like a more brutal Minimoog with plastic ends. Quote The Angels of Libra The Drawbars | off jazz organ trio

CEB
Not a real one. I toyed with a VST based on one. Kind of laid out like a Moog. But it's duophonic. Sort of kind of ARPish. Nah. It's sort of it's own thing I guess. But the pictures of the real ones look cool. The mixer and ADSR controls are sliders I guess it's more of a vintage SH vibe. Probably why I liked the VST. The French had some really cool synths. Quote "It doesn't have to be difficult to be cool" - Mitch Towne "A great musician can bring tears to your eyes!!! Docbop
To go with it you should get one of the old Soviet clones of the Apple II computer. They were identical except they were red instead of the Apple off-white.
CEB
The RSF stuff. They sound really different. Arturia is taking chances with cool ideas. I like the MatrixBrute a lot. I'm not into Eowave but they are doing different stuff. Quote "It doesn't have to be difficult to be cool" - Mitch Towne "A great musician can bring tears to your eyes!!! rod76
Hello Paul! I've been seeing the Estradin-230 on ebay for some time. Others that always appear in some searches are the Junost-21 and the Electronika EM-26 Vocoder.

DanFor
You can check them here: http://www.ruskeys.net/eng/synths.php I have this one, rather bizarre combination of organ/string/polysynth with monophonic synth: http://www.ruskeys.net/eng/base/formanta.php It's even possible to order MIDI interface for it...
