I might pick one up as a controller, but the 1,000 pound weight might make it challenging to take to rehearsals and gigs.

Ugh...WAY too ostentatious for my taste. I don't like the silver on the plate either.

It is getting harder to discern the tonal difference between the newer - in the last 5 years - NY models and the Hamburgs.

I hope the NYs don't go too bright so they lose their character altogether. The new ones have more clarity then mine but seem to be lacking more of the American tonal character that Steinway, Masons and the old classic Baldwins are known and loved for.

This new black diamond edition appears to be targeting the super rich when a plain old Steinway isn't good enough for a conversational piece in their 2000 square foot living room. Whatever.

I'm glad to see the free triple pedal included. Obviously, they are going after Nord here. They just need to come out with a version that is painted red to stack an Electro on top.

Oh, and no layering or user definable split points on this? It's 2019.

Although it recalls Liberace's custom pianos in spirit (in the worst possible ways), I gotta say that the brown one is gorgeous. The real question is, how does it sound through a vent?

moj for the win!

Legs are awkward shaped, I'd remove them but probably need 2 X-stands to hold it.

No wall wart, that's good - ticks that box for me.

No extra sounds. I still need to call up a clav patch when we play "Superstition", so obviously not a 1-board solution here.

It's not a Fatar TP-100 action, so gotta say I'm GASsing for it.

So, what you're telling me, is that we need to influence monetary policy globally until I can afford one? Actually, I'm ok with my Kronos piano. Sort of a semi moldy Capri sun pouch on a Martini and Rossi Asti Spumante budget.
