Do any of these (Aleseis Vortex, etc) work wirelessly with workstations such as the Korg Krome?

I know they work wirelessly with computers, Ipads, etc but that's another piece of gear that I would prefer to avoid lugging to gigs.

You need to have a board that can act as a host.

The Korg Krome does not.

I know you don't want more outboard gear, but that is what is needed to run the Vortex MK2 Wireless. I have one, and it's great.

I have an iConnectivity Audio 4+ that I use as my i/o in my gig rig.

It also is a host. I plug the Vortex receiver into the back of it and I can control my Fantom X6, for example.

Their not available anymore, but I used to use the CMF WIDI X8 with my AX7 and it worked well. I liked it because it includes both USB (for use with a computer) and DIN MIDI at both ends.

Sorry: my question is directed to Escape Rocks.

Are you using it wirelessly or wired?

Wirelessly. That is what you asked, right? :snax:

Wirelessly.

As I said, I plug the wireless receiver into my audio connect 4+.

This allow me to use my Vortex with anything in my rig.

As far as MIDI host adapter, you will have to search for those. There are a few out there from around $70 to $150.

I cannot speak to the quality of any of them as I do not use them.
