HAPPY NEW YEAR! (POP...WHOOSH)...Here, everyone, have a glass... "To a happy, healthy, safe 2002 for all of us and our families!" (Clink)... (Chug chug chug)... Yeah, yesterday at work I was in a chatroom with a guy from the Guam forecast office, and it was already 2002 there. He was saying that he could feasibly hop a plane to Honolulu and celebrate the New Year again there. So, being me, I had to give him some shit...and said "So when you flew back to Guam, would you meet yourself flying toward Honolulu?"...you know, just to see if he might be stoned or something...HAR HAR HAR....

It's usually me who has to work (& usually comin off a new years gig the night before). wtf? no sleep, and no partying? whats up with that? -I just took some kidney stone meds. for this hangover that I had left over from a couple of years ago, I figure that should do the trick. -either that or I'll barf me guts out.... HAPPY NEW YEAR, ALL!!! Thanks KHAN, and again: GOD BLESS US EVERY ONE!!! the apple cider was great as usual! Thanks to God for blessings past, the year just gone, a learning blast. From Musicplayers loads of aid, (so what we didn't all get paid? :) ) We had great fun, we made our songs, recorded weak, recorded STRONG. Now to enjoy 2002! ... who knows, maybe a Gram(my) or two? ----------30----------------------- Think that's about optimal lyrical output for on-the-fly at 8:00 am Dallas Time after a long blessed weekend :) ! Life, love, peace, safety, joy and success to all in this next 365 and beyond!!

Yup, I hadda gig last night. But I didn't really party, 'cause I knew I'd be up all night and having to come in to work. Gig kinda sucked. We base most of our stuff on three part harmony...and the girl who sings most of the high harmony parts had laryngitis...she couldn't speak a word, much less sing. The crowd was okay...but the club owner was a bit irate that all of the harmonies weren't there.

We actually did NOT have a gig for New Year's, but the wives/girlfriends cooked up an excellent mexican meal, then party games and listening to tunes, got so involved in some discussion that we MISSED the countdown by about 10 minutes, DUH! And it was too late, at 12:10, to catch a flight to LA! Here's wishing a better 2002 for everyone!
