All right KC brethren, there is no prize or reward in this exercise. :D

Please ID this keyboard if possible:

The picture is a still shot from the Crystal Waters video for "100% Pure Love".

Nevermind how you feel about the song. This drill is about IDing the instrument. :laugh:

I have no idea. Thanks for your help. :cool:

Yep, I think brotha Dan has nailed it. :thu::cool:

just sayin' here D', the microphones in the video were not the ones used for the recording (obviously). The same could be said about the keyboard.

Dan Long FTW :2thu:

Not even close. It's a Roland D20. :poke::laugh:

No disk drive so it's not a D-20. :D

I have it on good authority that it's a Roland D-10. :cool:

Who was it a while back who used to end shows by smashing D-5s into the floor like a Townshend guitar...? I hated that the same way I hate seeing cars destroyed for a movie. Someone would have been glad to drive those!

OT now. Don't know about D-5's but I know for certain that Trent Reznor used to smash DX 7s during shows in the mid to late 1990's. I actually sold him one just for this purpose. :eek:

If Im not mistaken, I believe it was Iain Baker of the Group Jesus Jones. I seem to remember him talking about smashing ROLAND D-5s in the September 1991 Issue of KEYBOARD Magazine.
