Joe Muscara
"new iPad Pros and Macs" Maybe. It could be just that, or more than that, or not that. The only thing we can be absolutely sure of is that it won't be iPhones. Quote "I'm so crazy, I don't know this is impossible! Joe Muscara
P.S. I deleted this same thread in Garage Sale because that was a mistake, right? ElmerJFudd
Ya. And Ill tell you why. Ive been working without my glasses all day, and just finished a cabaret set without them too! My neck is killing me from all the squinting. ElmerJFudd
Bah, when I broke 40 a book has to be in the sweet spot for me to focus well. I've got the transitional bifocals (expensive f@cking glasses). But it sucks when I forget them. Anyway - maybe we'll see the new MacPro? Or a killer Mac Mini for Halloween! stoken6
Anyway - maybe we'll see the new MacPro? Or a killer Mac Mini for Halloween! I'd love to see some proper new desktop Macs. And MainStage for iPad would be a real win. Cheers, Mike.
mauriziodececco
I found interesting that the keynote is done in Brooklyn within a Music academy, and that the invitation include a lot of graphic works. It seems oriented to the Apple creative pro customers. Maurizio Quote OB-6, Modx 7, Rameau upright, Hammond Pro44H Melodica. Joe Muscara
I did see one speculation that Apple would bring Logic and Final Cut to the iPad. That would be neat if they could pull it off, but as others have said, MainStage might be enough. Quote "I'm so crazy, I don't know this is impossible! I do feel that studio tools should be optimised for the big-screen, accurate mouse-control, key-shortcutted laptop and desktop devices. That's where they live, thrive and survive. MainStage on the other hand is a live tool, and the benefits of bringing an iPad and not a laptop to a live stage are immense. iPads are rock-solid stable, even more so than OSX laptops, and simpler to mount onto stage rigs. However, I wouldn't be surprised to see Logic for iPad because "yay, iPad", and everything's iPad these days. But it wouldn't get me as excited. Cheers, Mike.
