"new iPad Pros and Macs"

Maybe. It could be just that, or more than that, or not that. The only thing we can be absolutely sure of is that it won't be iPhones. :D

Bah, when I broke 40 a book has to be in the sweet spot for me to focus well. I've got the transitional bifocals (expensive f@cking glasses). But it sucks when I forget them. :taz:

Anyway - maybe we'll see the new MacPro? Or a killer Mac Mini for Halloween!

I did see one speculation that Apple would bring Logic and Final Cut to the iPad. That would be neat if they could pull it off, but as others have said, MainStage might be enough.

I do feel that studio tools should be optimised for the big-screen, accurate mouse-control, key-shortcutted laptop and desktop devices. That's where they live, thrive and survive. MainStage on the other hand is a live tool, and the benefits of bringing an iPad and not a laptop to a live stage are immense. iPads are rock-solid stable, even more so than OSX laptops, and simpler to mount onto stage rigs.

However, I wouldn't be surprised to see Logic for iPad because "yay, iPad", and everything's iPad these days. But it wouldn't get me as excited.

Cheers, Mike.
