Well, here we go again. Gotta get it done one more time. The Docs are hoping to get enough off the bone this time around to get the gum to pull together enough to heal.

I'll be asleep about noon tomorrow & gittin ground on. Should be home by 3 or 4 in the afternoon & then it'll likely be a couple of vicodan days.

I have an outside window ledge I need to replace and was planning on this weekend. I guess I'd better stay off the roof on Saturday. Maybe I can get it cut to length and primed and painted on Saturday & install on Sunday.

Hell, on the other hand, the Vicodan is a great excuse to watch the US Open Golf Championships all weekend. :D

Well, Dak, since this thread started, I had my shoulder surgery, and Nursers, I think I know what you mean about the enema. Wasn't that an album by Tool?

Those pain killers aren't what Limbaugh cracks them up to be (heh, heh, he said crack). Find a good source of prunes, the remote control and comfort yourself that my wife will not get her Dr. Phil rerun today because of golf.

I know how you want to get up on that roof, I wanted to see what the hail did to mine, but I won't be climbing any ladders for some time now, even though the "case manager'" from our disability insurance contractor doesn't seem to understand that I have no way of lifting my arm, since the surgeon cut through the middle of my deltoid muscle and I haven't used it for six weeks.

I wonder if they think that harassing my doctor for details will make him send me back to work sooner. My job is very physical and somewhat dangerous (I climb utility poles as part of what I do), but the numbskulls at the disability outsourcer act like they can't understand the limitations that a very well known orthopedic procedure creates. The adage in the medical insurance world seems to be "Deny first and ask questions later."

Sorry for the rant, Dak, I'm wishing you the best.

Be careful with the pills...you might start thinking Davey Duvall is back in contention. :o:eek::D

Seriously, though, take care and hang in there. Here's hoping that this time does the trick!! :thu:
