Digital piano/Controller Longevity?

I learned with my Stage 2 HA88 that the Nord AP's are finicky about amplification. They sound excellent with excellent amplification but not so good with good amplification or less. The CP4 on the other hand is not finicky and sounds good through any amp I've encountered (even in mono). I don't know why this is but it seems relevant to this conversation. If you've got excellent amplification and you like the Nord action you'll likely be pleased with your choice.

Nord says it has improved the action in its promo literature and I would deem it correct from my audition!

Yeah, I was REALLY surprised I would like the NP4 as much as I did!

I had EXACTLY the same feeling playing the NP3 as you did, so I didnt have Nord in consideration until I actually tried the NP4!

first i have heard about an improvement in the action from piano 3 to 4.

ive tried the piano 3 but have not had the opportunity to try the 4.

how is it different?

You dont have to bring the key fully up to replay the note.....ergo the rebound is quicker

This is more fully realized on the 4 as opposed to the 3
