Dave Bryce
Take a walk in the Boston Commons. Eat Italian food in the North End. Fanueil Hall/Quincy Market has great food, good drink and usually some decent music. Can be a bit touristy sometimes, though... dB ==> David Bryce Music • Funky Young Monks <== Affiliations: Cloud Microphones • Music Player Network

fjzingo
Had a lobster roll yesterday, not bad at all. Nova Scotia will have to wait for another time. Tonigt legal seafood. Went over to guitar center across the street from Berklee music college. What a sad experience, they had basically nothing in. Shopping in the streets I suppose you call backbay was really good though. Overall Boston is really beatiful though, did some running throughBoston common and both sides of the river. Phil Aiken
Go see Duke Levine's "Sweet Sounds of the 70's" gig at The Lizard Lounge in Cambridge. He is a world class guitarist and the band is slamming. Duke is the regular guitarist with both Mary Chapin Carpenter, Peter Wolf (and the current The J. Geils Band lineup), and plays local clubs with various other artists and under his own name. Keyboard player is a friend and is outstanding. That show is Thursday. Also highly recommended is The Tim Gearan Band the night before. He does not usually play with a keyboard player, however. Folk blues with horns, or something like that. fjzingo
Thanks everyone for all the advice, In the same block as I stayed(Boston Park Plaza) was a piano store, M.Steinert and Sons, stuffed with Steinway pianos. Got to play a new D and an A. Damn they played nice. The A would be perfect for my living room, me thinks....now just need to convince my better half. Did some of the things suggested, but will most likely come back.... -Freedom walk - Really good US history lesson, and highly informative on the Samuel Adams topic :-) -Was taken to "Legal Crossing" for lunch at 558 Washington street which was absolutely fantastic. Really yummy Seared sea scallops. -Lobster roll of course-yum. -Spent mornings running, directed by my Garmin 645 music with a virtual trainer (program trying to reach 5 min/km 5 km, supposedly there in 7 wekks....), both sides of Charles River, really beautiful. I was not really the only one running in the morning.... -Also spent some time reading in the park Boston Common, lovely area. Spent most time in the convention center...... /Fred Cantaloop Soulfetch Soulbox
