Joe Muscara
From Crumar's Facebook page Mojo becomes Mojo XT! The good old Mojo [two manual - Joe] but with "extended" features such as the built-in AC inlet and the 11-pin connector for compatible Rotary Speakers, plus some minor changes in functionality. Check it out on www.crumar.it or ask your dealer. As of this posting, the Crumar.it web site doesn't show me the updated info. But, you can see Frank Montis playing the Mojo XT at the Mojo XT link above on FB. - Joe "I'm so crazy, I don't know this is impossible! Dave Bryce
Here's what I know: 1) New firmware, with the possibility to select velocity or non-velocity for upper and lower manual from the panel, drawbars hold function like Mojo61 (to simulate 4 set of drawbars), cancel state with midi channel shift (when you hold manual button, organ sound will stop and organ starts transmit midi note messages with velocity on midi ch 4 & 5). 2) Internal power supply. 3) External slot connection for mojoeditor (no more need to open the black little panel) 4) 11 pin connector! Finally able to connect a real leslie speaker directly to Mojo! There's a preamp inside to match signals (also a hole to adjust the audio out level of signal to leslie), when you disable the leslie simulation with the panel function (shift + upper manual button) a circuit will power the leslie speaker on. Please note: some other clones don't have this feature, supported for example by genuine leslie 3300... we have it! Plus, this will avoid the classic "bump" when you turn the organ on already connected to a leslie because when you power the MOJO XT, the Leslie stays off until the boot process is over; then the XT will send power on message to the Leslie. Crumar says that this depends on type of rotary speaker connected and how the 11 pin cable is wired. 5) Some minor improvements and changes in the silkscreen. Plastic "Crumar" Logo on the back of the instrument. $2499 MAP. dB ==> David Bryce Music • Funky Young Monks <== Affiliations: Cloud Microphones • Music Player Network
Doerfler
looks like some very nice improvements to the original . probably not enough for me to want to upgrade from my Mojo, however.
jimkost2002
Dave, any word yet on whether the DSP architecture is like the 61 or is it the same old XP classic? Joe Muscara
Thanks for the deets, dB. One of the cool things about this is that it makes a better separation between Mojo XT and Mojo 61 + Lower Manual. There was some overlap before and it seemed like the 61 + Lower was a better deal but now the XT is back on top of the heap, I think. "I'm so crazy, I don't know this is impossible! Hmmmm,.... I dont want to spread unsubstantiated info, but just trying to decode Maxs Italo-Anglais! If I understand correctly, it's a regular Mojo with some hardware modifications and new firmware to support those. My summary above is the list Andrea sent to me. The XT does not have Wifi - you still have to open the back to connect a computer to edit (unless you use mojoeditor). All the buttons are in the same place as the standard Mojo, so it's most likely basically the same circuit boards. As far as I know, the M61 and Mojo both run VB3-2 - so not really any difference there - and I don't think the sound or effects sets have changed, just some functionality. What is it you're looking for as far as other differences, brother Jim? dB ==> David Bryce Music • Funky Young Monks <== Affiliations: Cloud Microphones • Music Player Network

What is it you're looking for as far as other differences, brother Jim? dB dB, since I have more hands on experience with the 61/Lower Manual than the Mojo Dual, I was looking for overlap of Extra Instrument functionality in the XT such as: 1)Whammy bar with Leslie Speed Switches 2)EP instrument parity between 61 and dual 3)FX model and parameter parity 4)Ability to play organ LHB on lower manual while playing EPs or clav on upper (my understanding is it is currently the reverse) ...one more thing, dB, Id prefer to use the Mojo Editor than a computer....do you find the editor box to be quicker than computer or vice versa. Also, I was hoping for 2 drawbars per manual, but, oh well Im STILL happy with what Ive seen, especially INTERNAL POWER SUPPLY! I couldnt see clearly from Franks video, but is the IEC connector similar to coffee plug like what Nord used to use? Thanks in advance, dB!! If any of those things were addressed, I am unaware of it. ...one more thing, dB, Id prefer to use the Mojo Editor than a computer....do you find the editor box to be quicker than computer or vice versa. I have to honestly admit that I've never used the mojoeditor. Im STILL happy with what Ive seen, especially INTERNAL POWER SUPPLY! It's the same IEC cable that the Mojo61 uses to plug into the external supply - IEC 60320 C. dB ==> David Bryce Music • Funky Young Monks <== Affiliations: Cloud Microphones • Music Player Network
