BuckW
Song: Carly Simon's "You're So Vain" Cover band: Aerosmith It should have/could have been a heavier, more powerful song. In addition, with a male vocalist it turns the meaning on its head by now being about a vain woman. I can hear it in my head. Steven Tyler could imbue a lot of emotion into it, kind of like "Jaded". He could make it sound personal and easy to relate to.
David Bryce
Song: Loving You (Minnie Ripperton) Cover band: Rammstein. I don't think I need to explain. dB P.S. Brother Buck - You're So Vain is (still!) a fave of mine to bash out on the piano in a much heavier way than the original (surprises folks...usually in a good way ) than the original so I am SO with you. Threadslayer
Song: Carly Simon's "You're So Vain" Cover band: Aerosmith OK. I was just playing that in my head and it was going OK with Aerosmith up to the bridge and then at "you're so vain" Joe Walsh came in on the vocal and he and the James Gang finished out the tune - and shredded it!
