OT - Gotta new website and a new PC and some awesome studio pics

Recommended Posts

Yups,..my new house is finished and our newborn is doing great and to top that off ,I've gotta new website frantic nutbush and a new PC

It's a pentium 4,3ghrz 1gig ram monster with a SB audigy ZS platinum pro soundcard.

Software I use:

Nuendo 2

Reason 2.5

Fruity loops 4 producer edition

Together with a massive amount of software synths and samplers

(so good to have a close friend with a musical gearshop,he gave me an awesome deal on the whole software package(Thnkzz ED!!!))

I started on a new project and am trying the Phait approach. I made up the songtitles first.

Am not used to that but it seems to work for now.

This time I want all the songs on my new CD to have a certain connection. All the material I ever made was on it's own. Now I'm staying in one genre and soundscape.

Since there's not a recordcompany on this planet that's interested in my work I'm looking for sponsors that'll help me start off. Got a guy who wants to print Stickers with my bandname for free when I name his company in the CD booklet.

Was hoping that some of you guys would review the new site and gimme critics,... don't be shy,..I can take a LOT :)

here's some pics of my workplace by the way... I thought you guys were ready to laugh at my messy set-up,...or cry,.. whatever ;)

Cool looking site, Boosh. Did you do it yourself or hire it out? What tools did you use? I recently built myself a DAW that is pretty similar to yours with the following hardware:

P4 2.8GHz 800MHz FSB (Hyperthreading enabled)

Intel 865Perl MB

1GB of Dual Channel Corsair DDR 3200 RAM running @ 800MHz

XP Pro

32MB ATI AGP Video

80GB ATA Seagate HD (OS and Apps)

80GB SATA Seagate HD (Audio and Samples)

Yamaha F1 CD burner

Rackmount Case

This system has been fantastic to work with and was easy to setup. Im also using a Korg MicroKontrol and an Echo Mona audio interface w/Sonar 3 PE, Project5, Vegas 3, and Sound Forge 5. Id love to check out Reason and LIVE, but Ive got to wait a while until I get some more $$ before I spend anymore on this stuff.

A while ago I bought a program called SWiSHmax... you can build flashwebsites with it. It's very easy to use. My site is a spinoff of a freewebsitetemplate I found somewhere...

SwiSHmax is at : swishmax

The alchemy of the masters moving molecules of air, we capture by moving particles of iron, so that the poetry of the ancients will echo into the future.
