Mark Schmieder
Wow, that sure makes me dislike Dylan! I didn't start liking him until my mid 30's anyway, and haven't listened to him in years. Now I know why. On his own, you can "adjust", but once you put a GREAT singer next to him, like Johnny Cash or George Harrison, you just want him to shut up and let their far more emotive voices dominate! d halfnote
Gee, that's not the intended effect....but there ya go ! :idk I think it just shows him to be more human & less the icon that many see. d=halfnote
Mark Schmieder
It wasn't meant to show him disrespect BTW. He is what he is. It's just that I have to be in a specific mindset and mood to hear that, whereas a truly GREAT singer who is full of nuances, like Harrison or Cash, can pull me into their world regardless of where my head space is at.
