harmonizer Posted May 25, 2017 Share Posted May 25, 2017 "Superstition" amazes me because it sounds like nothing that came before hit, yet was still highly consumable as pop music. Every time I hear "Superstition" I think about how this was an early result of his having fought to get greater autonomy in how his music was created (as opposed to a Motown hit machine approach).
