d halfnote
Well, LarZ, y'know why they do that ? For some, any blag they hang out there is making them more well known. That's the value FBook has for anyone or any biz. It's FaceTime w/ the world. I don't like the site for a number of reason, many mentioned already, but it and similar sites are an undeniable factor in aspects of publicity, branding, etc. We been around this corner before but why's anyone think so much of the action w/ this or other music-biz-related sites (actually any sort of biz site) has shifted to those places ? d=halfnote
Larryz
I guess I may have to look into Facebook some day, especially if I were developing a following or using it to promote gigs. But as of now, I can still get away from FB and continue to hold off awhile longer... Take care, Larryz
d halfnote
Look at the place in terms of what GPlayer (or other entities) have going on there. I'm sayin' we should induce those there to visit here. By hook 'N' crook, all that.... d=halfnote
Larryz
@ D, I'm all for adding a few of them to our forum if you get them to come on over... Take care, Larryz
whitefang
I'll second that. Although there probably would be some who couldn't get along without the "like" feature. Or feel funny being the only ones posting photos of their kids, grandkids or pets. Whitefang I started out with NOTHING...and I still have most of it left!
