Jokerelli
I uploaded a song to soundclick of a song a few friends and I came up with when we were just kids hanging out, jamming and drinking beer. Ok, not exactly kids, old enough to buy beer, back then the drinking age was 18. This was recorded on the fly on a boombox. The full version is a horrifying 13 minutes, but this version is only about 5. It was written about a friend who passed away a few years ago, long after the song was written. What was a joke song became a lasting tribute. The Barnegat Light Boys http://www.myspace.com/jokerelli
Tedster
The best tribute one could give to a fallen member of the gang is to write a song about 'em. A "musical roast" as it were. I'll join ya in hoisting a glass to your Captain Craig. "Cisco Kid, was a friend of mine"

Jokerelli
Thanks Guys, like I said I hope he's listening and smiling. This was not a song to show off musical talent or recording techniques. just some guys having a few beers, jamming and staying out of trouble. http://www.myspace.com/jokerelli
Jokerelli
It's very funny. I'm getting more positive e-mail on this than on my semi-professional stuff!
