Philip OKeefe
It's Christmas morning, and most of us are safe at home with family and friends, enjoying all the best that our Country has to offer... but while we're doing that, there's thousands of our young people who can't be with their families and friends this holiday season because they're overseas defending our freedom and liberty. So I'd like to ask you a personal favor. Would you please take 30 seconds to just drop them a quick email to say "thanks"? Believe me, when you're overseas and away from home, a little message of thanks from someone at home that you don't even know can go a long ways towards cheering you up and making you feel that your sacrifice is worthwhile. So here's a link you can use. You can select what branch of service you wish your email to be delivered to, it only takes a second, and it will mean a lot to those who are giving up their Christmas at home to help insure yours will be a safe one. Thanks! http://anyservicemember.navy.mil/MessageSend.html Phil O'Keefe Sound Sanctuary Recording Riverside CA http://www.ssrstudio.com pokeefe777@ssrstudio.com

coolhouse
Phil, I found this thread to be particularly worthy of attention so I spread the word around several other forums. I've tried not to step on any toes in the process. I'm new to forums and not well-versed in local etiquette. So if I overdid it or got outta line in any way,I'll apologize now. later, Mike
Philip OKeefe
Thank you everyone - I really appreciate your responses, and I know the people overseas appreciate it too. Mike, normally "cross posting" is somewhat frowned upon, but for something like this I don't think you'll catch any flak. ;) I appreciate your enthusiasm in spreading the message. Merry Christmas / Happy Holidays to all. My prayers are for peace on earth and goodwill towards all humans... but until those bent on bringing evil and destruction to the innocent are stopped, I'm thankful for those who are willing to sacrifice their safety and comfort to help defend ours.
