Saint Johnny B
"Tracktion" is a relatively new app, couple years old, that is available from Mackie.com for free demo download. They say it has a low learning curve, does audio well, midi ok, and only costs 80 bucks for the full working version. So how does "Tracktion" stack up against all the other DAW software? How does it sound? Please share what you know with us. Thanks.
DJDM
I know a couple of people that swear by it. And for $80 it's a smokin little app. It has ReWire capability as well. There is more about it from their home site (which seems to be down right now): Raw Material Software DJDM.com
aliengroover
I've messed with the demo for a while now, and I can safely say it's a very cool, very easy to use app. From the program itself, it sounds pretty good, though I haven't burned anything from it yet (that "swoosh" sound that plays intermittently is too annoying to have me do that). It's definitely something to purchase and get way more than your money's worth. Seems like it would be a great starter or second app. Peace If at first you don't succeed, keep on sucking 'til you do suck seed!

Rog
I tried it but I couldn't find any reason to dump Nuendo for it. Good price though. "That's what the internet is for. Slandering others anonymously." - Banky Edwards.
