Spud, 37, of Grantown, Strathspey, is heading to New York for rehearsals followed by a five-month, four-continent tour with the 'Queen of Pop.' He has never met Madonna before but has played for her once before. When she arrived at Inverness airport for her wedding four years ago she was greated by the tune of "Like A Virgin" played on the pipes by Spud. "I can only assume she remembered me and tracked me down" he says. -------------- Nice one Not that I think much of Madonna these days but that is a good touch.
