Markyboard
Apologies if I missed this elsewhere. Repro-1 Just downloaded this beta version and instantly came up with a patch that sounds fantastic.
RABid
U-He is one of the few companies that I would consider buying something from site unseen. However, I'm wondering what I would get from this when I already have a P6? This post edited for speling. My Sweetwater Gear Exchange Page

Markyboard
The convenience of having it in your DAW. Which is not nothing..... Well it maybe nothing to some. But trying it out is literally nothing. BTW I never owned a P5 or Pro-1 but I read that they sound quite different. This Repro-1 sounds unique to anything in my collection - at least on first impression.
hardware
If you need a nice punchy solo sound it's nice. I already Zebra2 HZ and it competes with hardware for leads. Native synths just lose thier focus and sizzle in the low end so for bass nothing beats discrete audio. But for laptop guys this is a no brainer. Christian Cullen
I thought that too, owning a P6 - but I think the Repro-1 is monophonic. Also, as much as I love my analog synths, when working on my TV and post projects, it's much faster to pull up a plug as well as recall. I can see having both . Cheers to U-he on another home run! Markyboard
This Repro-1 sounds unique to anything in my collection - at least on first impression. On second and third impression it sounds like...Diva! Out of curiosity I attempted to duplicate 2 of the Repro-1 patches I created using Diva. While not exact I got them to the point where they are so close I can't really tell which I prefer any more. I'm convinced with more time I could probably get them near indistinguishable although at this point I've satisfied my curiosity. IMO Diva has the flexibility to cover just about anything created in Repro-1 except for the sequencer related stuff which I'm not to interested in. I'm also not crazy about the interface on Repro-1 , especially the mod section which mimics the Pro-1 so ... mov'n on.
