Nu2Keys
Who still buys Downbeat magazine?
Ed A.
I used to read Downbeat like 35 years ago. Musician Magazine and Keyboard too.
WillNeverPost
Buy it? No. Read it, yes, but only occasionally. Online. Full archive is available. Jazz ain't really my thing.
Donsta
I used to never miss an issue but that was many years ago.
Piktor
I still like paper. Around these parts, it's almost as hard to find as Keyboard magazine is.
Doerfler
not many people buy magazines anymore best I can tell, at least in print.
WillNeverPost
Used to be you didn't _have_ to buy Keyboard either. But that's been corrected for a while now (back issues are still downloadable, AFAIK). In any case a subscription doesn't cost much and it's the right thing to do. Jazz1642606857
I read it. They tend to promote whatever music is trendy in the jazz world. At Downbeat magazine Erroll Garner and Monty Alexander never existed. Harry Likas was the Technical Editor of Mark Levine's "The Jazz Theory Book" and also helped develop "The Jazz Piano Book." Harry spends his time teaching jazz piano online and playing solo piano gigs.

Ulf
Hard to get (on paper) around here, but I buy a few issues a year. Usually a good read, always learn something new. Rock bottom bass Fakebook Pro Sheet Music Reader - at every gig!
BRW
When I was more heavily into what's going on in the jazz world, I didn't miss an issue... But that doesn't really interest me anymore, so I haven't read it in years. I do read it if they put Herbie on the cover, lol.
