miden
Trying to access the KVR forum (using Firefox - latest version) but every time (seriously!) I ty to access it it goes to this message "The connection was reset The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading. The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments. If you are unable to load any pages, check your computers network connection. If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web." everything else and every other webpage I access is working 100%. Just wondering if others are having similar issues? Thanks There is no luck - luck is simply the confluence of circumstance and co-incidence... Lindaru
I just tried it using the latest version of Chrome and it is working okay. (I am not a member but was curious if the site was down). KVR Audio Forum Perhaps others who have Firefox can test and see if they can get in? :idk

miden
cool thanks Dave....yeah it's an odd one alright...tried it with four different browsers - same result...might be something going on at either PC or modem level...got no idea what though...haven't changed anything?? Anyhoo :idk btw, thanks to all you other guys who posted, its appreciated There is no luck - luck is simply the confluence of circumstance and co-incidence... miden
something is nagging at my memory - isn't there some sort of change to flash, or sites not using it anymore...and was there some sort of edit needed to allow non-flash sites to work...or was that ONLY for Google Chrome? Reason I ask is that the page tries to load sometimes, but then something loads after menu structure is loaded that then crashes it.. miden
Yeah did all that earlier Also just tried on my iPhone using Safari - still no go...there is something going on here between my modem and the KVR servers I reckon...I know that sounds paranoid but nothing else fits. Trouble is I cannot contact KVR administration unless I can log in to the site. There is no luck - luck is simply the confluence of circumstance and co-incidence... Then at least you're bypassing your modem at home and seeing if the problem is your home connection. "I'm so crazy, I don't know this is impossible! miden
Bingo, that works using Cell Data and not home wi-fi/ethernet... miden
well it's still happening with the router/modem.... there is just something about the KVR webpage that the modem/router firewall does not like! I can access KVR still using iPhone Cell Data method, but I'd REALLY like to know what it is about the KVR webpage that's causing this. mate stubb
Nothing wrong with the KVR web page. Works on my wireless network. You either have an issue with your home network, or some router somewhere between your home network and their server is acting up. Moe ---
miden
no I didn't mean there was something wrong about the webpage itself, just that something that it is trying to load, the modem does not like. And it IS only KVR... There is no luck - luck is simply the confluence of circumstance and co-incidence... Markay
No issues accessing KVR in Firefox on Android or FF or Edge running on Win 10 but I think I know what the issue may be. In FF and Edge on Win 10 even in full screen the KVR site is cropped left and right. Doesn't happen with any other site. KVR have screwed up the HTML page format display code which for some reason is crashing the page on your machine. miden
Thanks Markay...now that is something I would never have thought of, but does make sense as after a cache clear the page starts to load, and then pops up this "Connection Reset" message. Okay I'll do a bit of research on it. Hopefully there are others that this is affecting. Cheers PS: although that doesn't explain why it WILL load on my iphone using cellular data and not the modem/router wi-fi There is no luck - luck is simply the confluence of circumstance and co-incidence...
