pizzafilms
Anyone know of any recordings that were made with a Bill Beer High Powered Leslie? I've read that "Change the World" was recorded with one. Any others?
Dnsmo
The first and probably best example that comes to mind is John Novello and Niacin. This is from a live Niacin set in Tokyo, and the characteristic Bill Beer overdriven Leslie sound is prominent in the mix: If you want to hear John's rig in a studio recording, I'd say the best starting point is Niacin's self-titled CD from 1996. Synthoid
Apparently he has his own beer: http://pbs.twimg.com/media/Bmqfk-oCUAAgaTz.jpg When an eel hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that's a Moray.
