Theo Verelst
A little different iteration of the added global correction AUX2 effect and master effects in sort of mix band mode led to this demo: [video:youtube] (or use ) All live played on the indicated instruments (top: PC3, bottom: a CP4), no additional software, no MIDI (no Midi or Usb cables were attached to either instrument) and no sequences (except for a few the obvious uses of the standard "example songs" from the Kurz), no editing, no effects, except a little reverb on the mix. I didn't need to stick with simple harmonies this time, and the whole sound is more playable, which thus far for me often was problematic. I never hear much in the way of demos of sound types that do not p*ss me off because of things some might like because of the monitoring or PA they use, or maybe some people like certain types of distortion, and who am I to stop them. This should sound alright, maybe not dramatic in every way, but can be put loud (at least the 96/24 I recorded could, what YT compression does is another thing that remains to be seen), works on big and small speakers, neutral headphones, etc. Recorded with a phone cam and audio taken from the 192/24 Yamaha mixer ADC with linux from the analog outputs of the instruments. For those who like that stuff or would want to do this themselves, the command to create the file I uploaded to YT: [font:Fixedsys]time ~/Fffmpeg/5/ffmpeg-3.0/ffmpeg -i /home2/theo/MOV_0044.MP4 -ss 1.1 -i /home2/theo/vidmixrec_pc3cor_cp4pha_1.flac -map 0:0 -map 1:0 -c:v copy -af "volume=+3dB" -c:a aac -cutoff 20000 -b:a 384k -threads 8 /home2/theo/demo_pc3cor_cp4pha_1.mkv[/font] So for the first time I've uploaded a 96/24 audio track! Tom Williams
Theo, I can't describe how relieved I am to finally see proof that you aren't a 'bot. Nice playing!; and I concur -- those patches seem to sing, even through my laptop's 1 cm woofer. -Tom Williams {First Name} {at} AirNetworking {dot} com PC4-7, PX-5S, AX-Edge, PC361
