Phil Aiken
Before you say Moogerfooger, I have one of those....I need something physically smaller for a small pedalboard that sits on my Wurly combo organ. I do not need the envelop follower function, just a low pass resonant filter whose cutoff and resonance are controllable by hand. If it takes an expression pedal, great, but not crucial at all. Analog much preferred - could probably use my Eventide pedal, but I leave that last in the chain for delays and verbs for this application. Google is not turning up much. The ideal thing would be a minifooger filter pedal, which alas, does not exist. mate stubb
Wah is a bandpass filter, not low pass. Not sure that makes a difference. Phil Aiken
I did think about one of those mini wahs, to be operated by hand, but a low pass filter is more of what I am after for this particular board. The Moog is there now, but eating too much space. Tusker
Not a very helpful suggestion here but if you like you what you are hearing ... have you tried using CV pedals on the filter and resonance settings, to see they work ergonomically for you? I should think the resonance is the more disaster prone of the two :idk
hardware
Some genius will start adding MIDI I/O to pedals and daisy chain them. Phil Aiken
I should have been more descriptive with my intended use. I have a Wurly combo organ, about the size of Nord Electro 61, but with a flat top. I have a small pedal board that I place on top of that with effects, to be tweaked by hand. I like to do manual filter sweeps with the Moog, but it eats up 1/3 of the pedal board, plus I'd like to put it elsewhere with my other Moog pedals. I'm looking for something that fits readily on a small pedal board and has both cutoff and resonance knobs to be twisted by hand. Dave's suggestion above seems like a good fit.... dsetto
The Xerograph seems to match the need. I had considered but haven't tried the Moog MF Drive Minifooger. A fixed 15db Resonance.
