timrocker Posted March 3, 2004 Share Posted March 3, 2004 A while back I was raving about The Darkness and before that (a couple of years) I was one of the early fans of Fountains Of Wayne. Seems like Phil and several others were on that wavelength at about the same time. Anyway, a buddy of mine had a videotape of a new group on Austin City Limits he was raving about, so we checked it out. In about half a song, I was raving too. Los Lonely Boys, a trio of Mexican American Brothers. They sound like SRV with major amounts of Tex-Mex traditional music. They can harmonize brilliantly. Really Truly Good songwriting. Recorded super nice. To me anyway. I bought the disc, it's worth the 15 bucks I put into it. Anybody else getting in to them? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
