ElmerJFudd
These cats are looking to kickstart fund a 5 oscillator rack synth module, http://ww2.sonicftp.com/news/images/27218_771.jpg http://www.limaflo.com/chicago-mk1.html I'm not affiliated and I haven't donated. But the info page does have audio demos at the bottom. Granted he says he recorded through a mixer which he says added some hiss, What do you think about the sound? mate stubb
I can't see any pitch control for the 4 pulse "oscillators", so I would tend to conclude that it is a single oscillator synth with 4 separate pulse wave circuits. Moe ---
hardware
An SE-1X is a 3 Oscillator design. Each oscillator spits out multiple waveforms. If you want a bass lead synth it is as good as it gets. I don't even see an oscillator detune. Been looking for a synth rack to replace the SEs. They don't exist.
