These cats are looking to kickstart fund a 5 oscillator rack synth module,

I'm not affiliated and I haven't donated. But the info page does have audio demos at the bottom. Granted he says he recorded through a mixer which he says added some hiss, What do you think about the sound?

I can't see any pitch control for the 4 pulse "oscillators", so I would tend to conclude that it is a single oscillator synth with 4 separate pulse wave circuits.

An SE-1X is a 3 Oscillator design.

Each oscillator spits out multiple waveforms.

If you want a bass lead synth it is as good as it gets.

I don't even see an oscillator detune.

 

Been looking for a synth rack to replace the SEs.

They don't exist.
