Cartoon laws of physics

Here are some of the known laws that exists in Cartoons:

 

Any body suspended in space will remain in space until made aware of its situation.

 

Explosive weapons cannot cause fatal injuries.

They merely turn characters temporarily black and smokey.

 

A character passing through matter (say, a wall) will leave a perfect outline of his body.

 

If a character sticks his finger in the barrel of a gun, the gun will fire backwards.

 

Any alligator, when hit or punched, will fly out of site into the air and return to the ground as two suitcases and a purse.

 

The more frightened you are, the longer it takes for your feet to get traction.

 

When a character is hit on the head, a long narrow bump immediately grows.

 

Any character dressed as a woman is irresistable to and other character.

 

Whenever a character walks on their tippy toes, they are automatically accompanied by pizzicato strings.

 

Any country seen from orbit will have its name written on it.

 

All cartoon animal furs have zippers

 

Male cartoon animals always wear fancy boxer shorts under their fur.

 

The time required for an object to fall twenty stories is greater than or equal to the time it takes for whoever knocked it off the ledge to spiral down twenty flights to attempt to capture it unbroken.

 

Certain bodies can pass through solid walls painted to resemble tunnel entrances; others cannot.

 

Everything falls faster than an anvil.

 

A sharp object will always propel a character upward. When poked (usually in the buttocks) with a sharp object (usually a pin), a character will defy gravity by shooting straight up, with great velocity.

 

Telephone and power lines are all as flexible as rubber bands.
