songrytr
Woo-hoo! Long-time lurker, first-time caller. No, wait...I'm not on the phone (well, I would be if I was on a dialup connection). Greetings to all the MusicPlayers and a big thanks to Mr. O'Keefe for introducing me to these forums. I had the pleasure to meet a few of you at the NAMM show and I'm looking forward to some good conversations here on the SSS and elsewhere in the forums. I'm a singer/songwriter who has spent a good amount of time circulating through many So Cal venues. I didn't become the rock star I expected to be when I was young and dumb but I've had a darn good time trying and I've been lucky enough to share the stage with some pretty cool people. Speaking of cool people, I'm currently working with the esteemed Mr. O'Keefe on the BEST tracks I've ever done. After all these years I've finally found a true partner in Pure Pop. Took long enough.... OK. Enough rambling for my first official post. This is gonna be FUN! this house is empty now...

They're definitely some of the best tracks I've ever been fortunate enough to work on. A little more introduction to Songrytr: This guy's got some of the most hook laden songs I've ever heard. He's a serious keyboardist with GREAT time and feel... and he's got a very distinctive and fun to listen to voice with a lot of expressiveness. He's a bit "left" of me politically (should fit in just fine with the majority here ), but I don't hold that aganst him. He's very intelligent, extremely knowledgeable about music, and on top of all that, he's a very nice and thoughtful person. I consider him one of those people that you feel fortunate to have met in your life. You guys are gonna enjoy chatting with him.
