FYI: New MusicPlayer.com forum

Recommended Posts

Hey everybody -- if you're interested in online collaboration, check out the Track Exchange forum hosted by Emile Menasche. It's based around the Rocket Network, which is pretty much the only online collaborative option these days. As this is uncharted territory and still quite a new concept, this is a chance to get in on the ground floor and perhaps even shape the eventual nature of the service.

I'll grow old and be one of those coots who is always minding what the neighbors across the street are doing. Hey, Batman, I went to the link and it said: "Browser Bug? Attention: There appears to be a bug in the web browser you are currently using. Here are some ways to get around the problem: To return to the page you were previously on: --click the BACK button on your browser's navigation bar until you reach the desired page. I saw some web site a while back that has an online collaboration program. It was run by people like Carol Sager and Baby Face. I found the publishing agreement a major turnoff. Is this the same program?

The big difference is that Rocket Network intergrates our technology into DAW software, Like Pro Tools, Cubase and Logic. The focus is a bit more higher end, full exchange of Audio, Midi, and Mix info online.... from anywhere ..... any time.... with the tools you allready use for audio production. Quite cool To Check out the track exchange go to: Click here to get started. ------------------ Dave Walker QA/Tech Support Manager Rocket Network http://www.mp3.com/dbwalker Rocket Network user name: Dave

Question and an invitation for all of you: First the question: What do you think is the most efficient way to collaborate online? Now the invite: bring your ideas over to the Track Exchange. I'm dying to see how people plan to use this technology. I've been in a number of sessions myself now, and its truly fascinating to be noodling with a guitar part and to suddenly have a drum part, posted by someone 3000 miles away, appear in your Arrange window. Look forward to seeing you.
