Soloing over odd meters, practice tips?

Hungarian folk music has a couple of 5/4, 7/8 dances.

If you want a ghastly dose of odd meters, try "All you Need Is Love" by the Beatles. The song mixes 2/4, 4/4, 3/4, 5/4 and probably more. Listen closely to the drums - there is no emphasis on any beat, anywhere, only a straight pulse throughout the song.

 

I had no idea until I saw the sheet music and the meter change every few measures. No wonder I have never heard it live per the original recording. I wonder if Ringo or Paul still play it.
