DulceLabs.com
I like the old ones that had them right on the front: Here's the D-50: http://www.synthmania.com/Roland%20D-50/Images/Roland%20D-50%20structure.jpg And the DX-100: http://medias.audiofanzine.com/images/normal/yamaha-dx100-390575.jpg

Bachus
Lots of good stuff SOS Synth Secrets Thanks for those links, but the newest article is over 10 years old, yet still a good many things can be learned from it... Another very usefull series of articles about synthesis can be found here But thats not what i am looking for, i am looking for specific information of latest synths, not as much as how to use them, but diagrams of what they can offer me... I am espescially interested in Yamaha, Korg, Roland, Kurzweil, Nord. Thanks for posting this, also the 25-part Sound Synthesis tutorials link; all great reference material. I'm going to print out the Kronos diagrams; will be handy to have when programming the instrument - especially with the parameter and layout differences between each engine. By the way, I noticed that the diagrams were missing for STR-1 and SGX-1. The STR-1 flowchart would be particularly helpful - especially in that particular format. Bachus
Download the manuals from e manufacturer web sites. Yes, but some like the Nord, dont have any of the diagrams in it... I hoped they where more readilly available, because crawling trough all the manualls is kinda time consuming, to be honest, i started this post to get an easy list of advanced synth features .... hardware
The Oberheims were so easy to program as once you learned the flow diagram you could literally make presets in your head.I believe Oberheim was wise as the ARP Odyssey was a huge favorite with the same idea, and what a sound that fat bastard makes. The new ones sound like a soft synth. Sounds really good still, but the old ARP Odyssey is like the old CAT synth. They are considered offensive synthesizers.Remakes are kind and gentle in comparison. Annuello
I imagine Kurzweil's V.A.S.T. would look something like this: http://images.delcampe.com/img_large/auction/000/093/398/526_006.jpg Welcome back from the commercial break. Bachus
Of course you googled terms like "sound synthesis diagram" and "music synthesis diagram". Right? yes offcourse and much more.. you find a lot, but when you add specific modern synth models to the search string, it simply does not yield the results you want.. Seems from many of todays synthesizers like the Nords these diagrams are just not available..
