cphollis Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 Cruising through Craigslist, found this ad for a cherry harp. Clonk! Hey, I'm a keyboard player, so what's the deal? It's strange, and I can't explain it. I've always wanted to learn the harp. For the crowd here -- am I just weird, or is this something you might have experienced? ("Dude, take a 16 bar harp solo" -- said no one ever) Want to make your band better? Check out "A Guide To Starting (Or Improving!) Your Own Local Band"

mate stubb Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 I hate ads that put $1 in when clearly that is not the price. Put your asking price down, sheesh. Moe ---
PianoMan51 Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 My wife plays piano quite well, but instantly fell in love with harps. This was four years ago. Today we've got a living room full of them. Regarding the craigslist item, be aware that harps age like pianos, not very well. There's a lot of tension with all those strings, and they pull directly against the soundboard. A close friend owns an L&H 23 and loves it, but this is a 20 yo instrument. Check it out carefully.
