I don't care what product he's reviewing, the man is simply awesome!

NO matter what I watch, I want to buy what he's playing right away. He feeds my GAS, dang it!

Seriously, I just got done watching him demo a bunch of different controllers using his Mac Book and Mainstage and other stand alone AU's. The man can play. Even without English subtitles, I can tell what he's talking about, and how excited he gets when he shows something very cool

I had to go take a cold shower to put out my GAS, or my credit card would be in flames right now.

More factory or big seller demos/reviews should be like Katsunori.

Agreed. IMO he gives the most useful demos of any reviewer I've seen. He has a rare combination of keyboard chops and deep understanding of synths. And yes, even without subtitles it's not hard to tell what he's talking about.

And yeah, the GAS inducing... There are several synths that I previously had no interest in, but developed a new respect for them after watching his demos of them. I hope he's paid well!

Ugh. Sorry to be a party pooper, but am I the only one who thinks he's -not- that great?

I mean, it's great to see and hear almost any keyboard in existence, and his excitement is fun, but his playing (which everybody raves about) is all over the place.

I also sometimes feel he unnecessarily demoes 'bread and butter' sounds when they clearly aren't a synth's forte...

Yes , I like all that Japanese guy's demo's , and Burt's , and don't forget Geoffrey Gee - awesome player straight into it boots and all no nonsense >
