mac1012 Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 hi just wondered if anyone has either of these keyboards especially the bk-3 by roland as I finding it hard to find any reviews or feed back on it , I like the look of it but wondered if it was worth the extra money as its classed as a first keyboard and I am upgrading from Yamaha psr e333 still undecided whether to go for the roland over the Yamaha psr e443 has anyone got a bk-3 on here ?
RudyS Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Hi Mac1012, I hope you get a reply, but there are not a lot of people here who are using keyboards. People on this forum tend to use more pro gear, so you might want to ask your question somewhere else (as well). good luck. Rudy
Rou Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 Professional or published reviews on arranger-type keyboards are difficult to find. It's probably relatively easier to find user reviews on these keyboards but do take these user reviews with a grain of salt. May be searching You Tube may also help (if ever you find one on both the keyboards you mentioned). Roland BK-3 user review Yamaha E443 user reviews Additionally, you may also want to check out these other two options: Korg PA300 Casio WK-7600 It's probably best to try and save up a little more and consider mid-range arranger workstation models for better features/functions and connectivity like the following: Korg PA600 Roland BK-5 user review Sonar X3e Dimension Pro EWQL-SO Gold Pianoteq 5.3+Bluthner PX-5S FA-06 SLMKII Graphite 49 AAS LL EP4 GS-2 Forte 4 Audiohub2x4 ASUS ROG G751(Live) Scarlett 6i6 1010LT TS110A Minimix 8 EMU XMidi 2x2
mac1012 Posted December 8, 2014 Author Posted December 8, 2014 thanks for reply yes its more feedback from users I wanted rather than scripted blurb or good independent professional reviews , I find it suprising there isn't more to be found like you get with cameras etc but hey ho I regard an actual keyboard users feed back rather more than anything. there is loads of youtube videos of all the models you mentioned but that only tells me so much funny you should mention the korg pa 300 I got chance of a nearly new one from a dealer boxed 12 months warranty customer return for 200 dollars less than new (130 pounds in my money) thanks for help although I do feel like I have walked into the wrong end of town coming onto this site 8-) having said that I am a bit of a closet synth admirer having spent my formative years in the 7os and 80s love the way they look and sound
