Is that Voldemort?

I find it amusing that this is many people's immediate association with Ralph Fiennes. Definitely an age thing.

LOVED the James Bond series all my life , and Daniel Craig is doing an Awesome job!. Casino Royale is my fave Bond movie so far - Fantastic.

I wonder if he will have to crash that Gorgeous Aston Martin? - hope not :).

I read recently that Stephen Hawking apparently wants to play a Bond villain

There is no luck - luck is simply the confluence of circumstance and co-incidence...

Man, I hadn't even made that connection and I grew up reading and watching them. This is what Ralph Fiennes means to me:

(NSFW, obviously ;) )

Funnily enough, I usually associate Ralph Fiennes with having been short-listed for Bond back in the 80's and 90's . . .

That's more a function of being a Bond geek than of age :)

So I guess the rumors about Christoph Waltz having been signed on to play Blofeld have some truth in them (the Daily Mail apparently has a good inside source at EON Productions, and they reported this last week).

Now that I know the name of the film, and that EON has finally decided to exercise the rights to SPECTRE and Blofeld they got back after the Thunderball fiasco . . .

I can't WAIT for this one! :2thu:

EDIT: Wait a minute, I just picked up Andrew Scott (Jim Moriarty in "Sherlock") in that lineup. Apparently he's just signed on in the last day or so, and there are rumors now flying that HE's slated to be the villain!

This is gonna get interesting, folks . . .

I want to see Hawking picked up on the Helicopter skid at the beginning of 'For your Eye's Only' and biffed down that hugely tall chimney stack :)

And ironically it had to be in one of Moore's best films.

Wonder what Brosnan's thinking right now. He campaigned hard to get her into any one of his Bond films.

I love Bond movies. ABC had the broadcast rights for many years and I'd look forward to watching them.

For you young'uns, people would eagerly wait to watch a TV program when one of 3 networks broadcast it. Crazy, ain't it?

Rule #1 for being an unsuccessful villain: don't kill Bond the first chance you get, just take him back to your hideout.

^^^ This ^^ And don't forget to tell him your entire plan and then leave him alone with a very slow moving death machine that can be deactivated by the one Q gadget he hasn't used yet. http://www.animateit.net/data/media/smiley712/smiley-char001.gif

I absolutely love these ABC Sunday Night Movie intros. The guy doing VO is Ernie Anderson -- the father of film director Paul Thomas Anderson.

The ABC movie theme was produced by Rochester NY's Ferdinand J. Smith. Ferd also did the original "HBO in Space" animation and music. You hear his voice on all the Raymour & Flanigan commercials.

I know this scene was made way back in simple times , but these "Mr Wint & Mr Kidd" various scenes still makes me laugh just as much today :D :D >

Kinda cool that we have a 50 year-old Bond girl.

Anyone remember her in 1992's "Dracula" as one of Dracula's brides?

I've always dug that theme.

Main draw card Berenice Marlohe was a breath taking Gorgeous Angel on Skyfall , and those idiot film makers murdered her off much too quickly :)

Meh. Bond had already enjoyed her.
