The horoscope page!

Yeah, I know I'm always chirping in here announcing someone or other's birthday, but to be honest, I don't go hunting for that information.

In my newspaper, The Detroit Free Press, they, like many other papers, have the daily horoscope section. AND they not only give the horoscope for that particular day, if it happens to be YOUR birthday, but they also list any celebrities who have birthdays that day. Like today, I'm informed it's DR. JOHN'S birthday, as well as BJORK'S. Also GOLDIE HAWN'S and MICHAEL STRAHAN and JENA MALONE, whoever SHE is!

So I usually just come here with whatever MUSIC personality's birthday it happens to be.

But I'm in a good mood today, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY to ALL OF 'EM!

Whitefang (PS: Also, the "Names and Faces" feature NEXT to the horoscope announces that some country singer named TY HERNDON came out of the closet!)

I started out with NOTHING...and I still have most of it left!

I like reading the horoscope page but I only read the Capricorn section. You have great odds (i.e. one in 365) that someone or some celebrity will be born on your birthday. You can google any day of the year and get a list of celebrities and other famous people. One of these days they'll have a coming out page too...I don't know why the media is so fascinated with NFL, NBA, TV Talk Show Hosts, Country Singers, etc., coming out. To me, it's just not newsworthy...
Take care, Larryz

My first wife is a nationally famous astrologer. I ain't into it, although there may be something to it. I lived with it for years and years so I know a little bit about it. But these days I have no interest in it at all.

But Fang now I know where you come up with these birthdays.... :2thu:

We get that as well in the Cincy daily rag but what really honks me off is they always forget MY name and yours Fang! Unacceptable folks.
I was born at night but I wasn't born last night...

Meh!

I always thought BJORK was Icelandic for "boring".

Just like I always thought the word ABBA was Swedish for "Lame"!
