You can write me the exactly cable i should use ?
Ken Beaumont Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Can you connect directly to EVE SC207 Monitors? -- yes Use a TRS to XLR Similiar to THESE Roland fa 08 TO external interface like audio komplete 6 TO Monitors ? -- yes again With the same cables into inputs 1 & 2 or use TRS to TRS for inputs 3&4 or 5&6. Djdanielz Posted November 21, 2014 Author Posted November 21, 2014 In the store (where i bought the fa) they told me That i cant connect thefa direct to the monitors . Can you send me a link from roland compny that there Is no problem doing that ? I know i can , in the store they told me that it will make problem
EscapeRocks Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 DJ, Those are powered monitors with XLR inputs? Just do as Toano88 says: get a TRS to XLR cable. TRS from FA08 out to XLR in on the monitors. Page nine of the Online Manual "Output jack: connect these to your speakers" The store may have said there's a problem since the FA08 is TRS and your monitors are XLR. Again, get the cable and you are good to go. David Gig Rig:Yamaha CK88 | Arturia Keylab 61mk2 | Mainstage
Djdanielz Posted November 21, 2014 Author Posted November 21, 2014 Hi and thank you! I bought the trs to xlr and connected them to the monitors, then the left monitor didn't make any sound at all, but suddenly outputed very low noise (the music I played at the moment). Can I output the sound directly from my keyboard to the two monitors? (Without a mixer or 3rd party device)
EscapeRocks Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 You should be able to do this: FA08 L/mono output to one monitor. FA08 R output to the other monitor. Both should sound. Some tones, or studio sets may be designed to play from right or left only depending on the settings. To test, I would pull up the basic grand Piano set and use that. It is a stereo piano. You should get sound out of both monitors. Again, to be clear, these monitors are self powered? They have built in amplification? David Gig Rig:Yamaha CK88 | Arturia Keylab 61mk2 | Mainstage
Djdanielz Posted November 21, 2014 Author Posted November 21, 2014 Yes they are active , powerd , i dont understend why the store Keep telling me no to conecet them direct to the monitors , this is what i Want to do ! Why i nedd to buy an external mixer with this expensive keyborad ?! It dosent make clear that the fa making me problems when i concet it diracly to the monitors ! This keybord has a problem ! And they need to reaplce it to me with a new one . Am i right ?
Ken Beaumont Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 It sounds like you have an issue with either one monitor, the cable or the FA-08. Swapping them around should tell you which. BTW, when its at home I connect my FA-08 directly to a pair of active monitors (Alesis M1 Active MkII) no issues. HAMEGZ Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 Do this troubleshooting connect ONE cable from the Left/Mono output of the FA into one monitor, play and confirm you can hear the keyboard. Remove the first monitor , replace it with the second, and conform it reproduces the keyboard. do the above two steps with your OTHER patch cable and confirm both work the second cable works. Now all you have to do is take one working combination and try the RIGHT output of the FA. NOTE depending upon the patch and FX it may be lower in volume or you may hear the reverb FX pronounced.
