Larryz Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 I couldn't understand the lyrics but she's super hot on the guitar...shades of SRV! Take care, Larryz
skipclone 1 Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Wow! okay if someone wants to enlighten me as to what`s wrong with her tone, no kidding-I can`t hear a problem. Vocally well...it fits the music. That was damn awesome! Same old surprises, brand new cliches- Skipsounds on Soundclick: www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandid=602491
Dannyalcatraz Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Unusual axe, too. HS, hardtail...I don't recognize it. Sturgeon's 2nd Law, a.k.a. Sturgeon's Revelation: âNinety percent of everything is crapâ My FLMS- Murphy's Music in Irving, Tx http://murphysmusictx.com/
Scott Fraser Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Unusual axe, too. HS, hardtail...I don't recognize it. There's another YouTube of her with a Les Paul, & she burns on that too. No, her tone is very fine. Maybe overplaying a bit, & a bit too much affectation in her vocal delivery, but she looks young, like she's just starting her career, & I'm sure she'll grow into a great performer. Maybe the next Bonnie Raitt. Scott Fraser
p90jr Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Pretty damned good... and my buddies all bought those guitars when they were $150 new a few years ago as beater backups. Never heard one of them put it as good of a use or sound as good on one.
Guest Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 She has very good tonal sound as far as I am concerned. She is a real blues lady I likeeeeeee.
02R96 Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 I think she playing a Squier Thinline Tele of some sort. Dan "I hate what I've become, trying to escape who I am..."
Larryz Posted November 20, 2014 Posted November 20, 2014 As stated in the OP, it's a Squier 51...you can go on Amazon and check them out in different colors for about $179 bucks...Tele Neck, Strat style body, humbucker at the bridge, single coil at the neck... ps. the Pawn Shop version is $699... Take care, Larryz
Lokair Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 the tone is little compressed , probably more of a recording the music using the onboard mic on the camera. Not ideal for music, but she gets the point across. picker Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 It's a Squier. Always remember that you are unique. Just like everyone else.
