mak1457 Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 I thought this might deserve its own thread even though it's been mentioned earlier. As someone who's interested in a MIDI pedalboard, I saw these and they look impressive and at a low cost too. But I don't want to spend my hard-to-find money on something unfamiliar so I was wondering if anybody has used these or are they too new? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Hammond-Organ-Midi-Bass-Pedals-/201066203784?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item2ed07aca88 It's either this or a used Roland PK5 for me. Hammond XK1-c, Hammond XPK-100, Yamaha FC-7, Spacestation V3
ksoper Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Looks like a home made thing. I don't like that the entire pedal case is only 19 inches long and enclosed at the bottom. You may get hung up if you use heel-toe technique. You could find an old Hammond pedal board and MIDI it yourself with this kit or something similar: Cygnus MIDI pedal adapter Or, like you said, a used PK-5.
