RobertLauriston
I'm looking for a joystick that doesn't return to the center the way game controllers do. Additional axes for in/out and/or rotation would be a plus. Prefer USB, MIDI would be OK. The smaller the device the better. I don't need another keyboard controller or synth. nadroj
What would it be for? You mean for like pitch bend/modulation, etc? Forgive my ignorance! Hammond SKX Mainstage
Ashville.Guru
I don't know of a joystick which meets your requirements. But I'm wondering whether the 2-D trackpad on a Korg Nanopad would be a better choice. With a joystick, you'd need some software to convert it to MIDI, and calibrate it, whereas the Nanopad is plug and play. - Guru This is really what MIDI was originally about encouraging cooperation between companies that make the world a more creative place." - Dave Smith
AnotherScott
Would a touchpad approach work? If you have an iPhone, I think this would work: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/ibend-midi-pro/id443381543?mt=8 Maybe this is the best place for a shameless plug! Our now not-so-new new video at https://youtu.be/3ZRC3b4p4EI is a 40 minute adaptation of T. S. Eliot's "Prufrock" - check it out! And hopefully I'll have something new here this year. ;-)
