Keysguy Posted October 21, 2014 Share Posted October 21, 2014 Since I switched from a powered mixer/passive speakers to powered speakers I kind of miss having the mixing controls and a vocal monitor near me. I run my BK9 directly into my JBL515XT's and its a great sounding setup. I'm thinking of something like the Roland CM30. Its got three channels and you can keep the internal speaker on if you use the headphone output to feed your powered speakers. If you use the stereo mix outputs on the back it turns off the internal speaker. Silly design. I know the general consensus is to automatically hate Roland amps but they are built well and have some good points. Anyone doing anything similar ?
