If keys or hands are freshly washed, I can't play worth crap. I need some of that natch'l grease.

When Joey D played my organ at a show, he sent me out for some lemon Pledge to make the keys nice and fast.

This has always been my choice to funkify my status .

It's your rig.

Politely ask whoever plays next to wash their hands first.

It's not unreasonable. Some people might roll their eyes but so what.

Otherwise when he is done get a slightly dampened paper towel and wipe the keys down.

I teach so I have several kids a day playing my stuff. I have a container of anti bacterial handwash at the entrance of my studio with a sign asking students to wash hands to avoid the spread of colds and flu.

If I'm concerned about a sick kid sometimes I wipe down the keys after they leave.
