I wonder what this would sound like. It's the stump of a giant Sequoia tree. It's 24 feet in diameter and the tree was 1,244 years old when it was chopped down. It probably was about 250 feet tall.

 

I'd like the sound of the tree better if they would use a full orchestra, rather than just a piano.

there was some guy selling a Jazz Bass-style bass on eBay a few months ago. Solid redwood body, 2Tek bridge, bolt-on neck, lipstick tube pickups. Homie was asking $800 and got it.

 

...I wonder how lignum vitae would work? Probably be a bitch on the ol' saw blades...
