CEB
I want a new 3 tier stand. Thanks KS7365-EJPro Heavy-Duty Folding-Z w/ 2nd Tier and.. KSA7500Universal 2nd Tier The two bottom tiers can hold a tank, and are super stable. The top tier (third) is also super strong...but.... if you put a heavy board on it this stand becomes top heavy. I really dig this configuration for my: 1. lower: Hammond XK3C (upper/lower manuals 2. middle: Yamaha Motif ES 6 3. top: Moog Voyager (and other configurations as well.. ) works great. http://www.onstagestands.com/catalog/assets/product_images/800-600/29886_KS7365-EJ_OSS_main.png http://www.onstagestands.com/catalog/assets/product_images/800-600/34047_KSA7500_OSS_main.png "It doesn't have to be difficult to be cool" - Mitch Towne "A great musician can bring tears to your eyes!!! Tonysounds
Hey Steve, can you post a picture of the stand set up with your keys on it? Hitting "Play" does NOT constitute live performance. -Me.
CEB
I want the K&M 18880 plus all stackers for 3 tiers but I called the US distributor. No one has the stackers. I have to contact my favorite dealer who has to contact the distributor who has to contact K&M in Germany then it will be 12+ weeks before I get anything. I can order Steve's stand which looks nice or I can order my K&M from the UK and limp along with my old 3-tier stand and hope I don't get raped with punitive import fees or I can get Steve's stand. Thomann's won't have one of the tiers until 4/30/14. There just aren't many triple tier options anymore. I miss the 80's. Hey Ed - here's a triple tier stand that scream's "the 80's" KLONK or what about Standtastic KLONK what I remember about the 80's was that everybody stood, no one sat except the drummer. Makes it alot easier to get to the third tier.
CEB
I don't want an A frame. LOL had a bad habit of over tightening and striping those aluminum threads. I actually considered the standastic but I couldn't find a 60" in stock. I have an old Instandt which was like an Austrailian predecessor if the standtastic. I can use that until I get the K&M. It will be easier to wrap the K&M with a cloth skirt around the base. "It doesn't have to be difficult to be cool" - Mitch Towne "A great musician can bring tears to your eyes!!!
