Changing key springs in Alesis Q88/M Audio Keystation 88es

I have an Alesis Q88 that I don't use, because I don't like the semiweighted action. It's too springy for my taste, and the black keys have more resistance than the white keys. I'd prefer more of a synth action.

I'm considering changing out the key springs to try to lighten the action a bit. Has anyone here done anything like that? Is it worth it? How big of a project is it, and where would I source new springs?
