Guitarzan
my son is studying recording arts and recently his class was broken into two groups and given an older 80's tune to record. Brett's group did Dancing in the Dark by Bruce Springsteen. i finally got a link to the song. as well as the recording process he was the guitar player and one background vocalists. Dannyalcatraz
Hahaha! That sounds more quintessentially 80s than The Boss' version! whitefang
I give him comps for at least trying to do something with a pretty much nothing song. It must have been quite a challenge. But he(they?)did get some good sounds going. Whitefang I started out with NOTHING...and I still have most of it left!

Whitefang i know exactly what you mean. i am not a fan of that song, never was but they did do something different and their production was good. when Brett first told me the song they were doing ( not sure if they had a choice) i was kind of disappointed especially when i found out the other half of the class got to do Kiss from a Rose, which is one of my favorite songs. http://www.soundclick.com/bands/pagemusic.cfm?bandID=193274 rock it, i will
